Enterprise Drive, Beaudesert

AWD Civil was the subcontractor installing a OD315mm PE sewer gravity main from Enterprise Drive down to the pump station below Barrier reef Pools yard including the installation of 5 MH’s.

From the Pump station through to the Beaudesert Treatment plant AWD installed a 250mm PE Rising main, this main also incorporated a Queensland Rail Corridor crossing which involved the installation of 42m of 600mm MS Enveloper pipe over 4m in depth.

  • Restricted traffic conditions requiring detours to allow for Barrier Reef Pools to maintain their operations with minimal to no disruptions

  • Bypasses to be installed to enable MH construction

  • Live sewer connections including flow control and shutdowns of pump stations.

  • Community liaison and consultation in high flow industrial area

Site Progress & Utility Coordination

Pictures below show some progress installation photos. Multiple service conflicts were encountered and located prior to construction to ensure constructability.

Project 2:

PE Pipeline Fabrication: Electrofusion &
Butt Welding Methods

Pipeline material was PE, Below photo’s show extents of PE welding utilising both Electro fusion and Butt welding methods. Stubs fitted with Weep flanges for penetrations into MH’s.

Project 3 :

Environmental Management &
Internal Chamber Works

Environmental controls have been installed to manage sediment. Below pictures show the PE lining installed within the chambers. Also shown is the benching being completed.
